The Pittman hire is great for the SEC

One thing really lacking in the SEC is our reputation in basketball.
Sure Kentucky is elite, but the drop-off from them is crazy big. We don't have a single other "basketball school" in the conference and we really need one to boost the value of our media deals.
Arkansas has the facilities to be a basketball school, has a modernish national title in basketball, and has proven that they can get splash hires in basketball.
Now that the Pittman hire has proven that their football program is basically dead and no one any other Power 5 program would hire for a head coach wants to work for them, they can focus on their true destiny- the be the SEC's second basketball blue blood.
Thank you for your sacrifice Arkansas! The SEC appreciates it.

Arkansas will win the Natty next year. We get our transfers who weren't eligible this year plus the #5 recruiting class in the country. SEC FUCT!

For the record, I like the Pittman hire. Good recruiter, culture guy, and fits Arky like O does LSU. If he hires a good staff and is given TIME, he can succeed.

This guy actually reminds me of Coach O in that he's emotional and players play hard for guys like that.
