Millisecond thought does not exist, nor has it ever existed

Even pretending to "convince" a player into saying "Yeah, I can foresee where my head will be in regard to the opposing player's head" is absolute horseshite brainwashing of that particular player. He's just telling some coach what the coach wants to hear.

What is the real thing that brainwashed player does? He turns his own neck sideways in an attempt to follow some bullshite coaching instruction against "targeting" and he puts the literal side of his neck directly into the path of the collision.

Spearing was always a penalty, and for good reason.

"Helmet to helmet" on the other hand happens every fricking play of every fricking game. Along the line, during linebacker collisions with offensive linemen or running backs, etc

But they only make a big deal out of it on open field defensive secondary plays because that's what the national narrative against the game of football has coerced refs into doing.

The play Smith got his fingers hurt on was helmet to helmet. There was a play where Najee Harris caught a pass on the goal line and was drilled helmet to helmet. Both guys would be classified as defenseless players based on the definition of it. The rule is seemingly arbitrary. I do not like the ejection aspect at all and never have.

Every play involves helmet to helmet

Vanderbilt should get the Whistler to sit at every game and yell "helmet to helmet!!" every play, and he'd be right
