The only decent added games are UF-aTm and maybe UT-AU

Clearly the SEC wasn't interested in making for a more intriguing regular season.

I may go. Up to Columbia, meet some friends there. Never been to a game at Mizzou.

good thing their job isn't to produce intrigue.
They needed to produce a scheduled that was fair and balanced and I think they did an admirable job. I mean people are talking about missouri getting fricked by adding bama and lsu...but their 2 west opponents already were arkansas and msu, arguably the easiest west draw possible. UGA for example already had bama/au, 2 of the 3 hardest west draws, so got balanced out by getting 2 of the easiest. Makes sense to me.

Im excited for both new additions. A&M-UF & A&M-UT. Sorry y’all got boring games.

UK is a tougher opening game for Bama than USCW would have been

Clearly protecting the top teams. Logical.

Paint your hair and take in a couple peaceful protests while you’re there.

I thought UGA was opening with Bama.
Do you know something that I dont?

That's what happens when you protect the teams expected to do well. If there were better games, Alabama would have the most difficult schedule, rather than Arkansas.

I meant replacement game, bad wording.

TIFWIW
I think the SEC built the schedule they did with the intention of maximizing the chances for the Bama, UGA, LSU, and Florida's to make the post-season playoff.
It isn't fair but it benefits those teams and potentially increases the SEC's profits.

I'll take the bottom feeders. We always play a tough schedule. Nobody can say lsu doesnt schedule well

What would you have done differently with the schedule?

I’d suggest possibly 3 games.. the two you mentioned plus the UT/TAMU game if the Vols are somewhat improved as expected

What other games could have added? Florida vs Alabama? LSU vs Georgia?
It's not like there were many good games that could have happened to begin with.

Early in the season? My guess is Mizz and Vandy will be out after two weeks.
