After Penny talked all kinds of shite about Barnes and Tennessee AND thumbed his nose at Calipari for not scheduling a home and home.
frick ‘em.

Memphis sports are a joke

I cannot wait to see Penny and his band of cash grabbers roll in to TBA in a month so VOLS can stretch that home win streak out to 31.

They got an injunction to play him tonight.
Memphis going hard for the season forfeit. Penny’s an idiot.

Honestly this is bullshite and everyone knows it
Did penny pay a couple players and piss off coack k and cal? Most likely. But the kid moved from Nashville to Memphis to play for one of the best high schools in the state and one of the best aau teams in the country. Who gives a frick if he had a little help getting there? It’s a 200 mile straight shot
Hella different from a certain Hawaiian family moving 4300 miles to Tuscaloosa with no outside help just to watch their son play football

Why on Earth did they think this wouldn't be the outcome?

So you're cool if we have Peyton pay for a kid and his family to move to Knoxville? Knox Catholic's got an entire OL full of D1 players. I'm sure the NCAA would be cool with it. He's not even coaching.

The other schools that recruited him?
In all seriousness, Penny deserves everything he gets with this after how he tried to talk about about multiple coaches who would own his arse on the court. He’s been a A grade a-hole.

Why would Penny be allowed to pay 5 figures for this kid to move to Memphis and the kid still be eligible whether he’s coaching there or not?
He was the #1 player in the country. The motivation for the cash was clearly basketball related. It’s not like Penny did it out of the kindness of his heart.
