The narrative that Jake Fromm can't throw the football couldn't be more wrong.

There is this narrative with the national media that the key to beating Georgia is stopping the running game and making Jake Fromm beat you through the air. The truth is Jake Fromm is an exceptional passer for a true freshman, and he just isn't asked to do it much because we have great running backs. Jake Fromm is leading the SEC in QBR and he has better passing statistics than Jalen Hurts across the board. He has thrown 15 TD passes compared to just 4 interceptions. If Auburn is able to stop the run tomorrow, Jake Fromm is more than capable of beating them through the air. In fact, his 63% completion percentage is quite an upgrade from Jacob Eason's completion percentage. Jake Fromm's accuracy, along with the obvious improvement of the offensive line, played a huge part in our 9-0 start. I hope he throws for 300 yards and 3 TD's against Barn so we can finally put this narrative to bed.

The SEC east is as good as the SWAC this year.

That's why we have curb stomped all of our SEC East opponents. We also beat Notre Dame thanks to a great TD pass from Fromm and we killed Miss State. You guys lost to LSU. Enough said.

I'm not denying UGA is good, but we've yet to see your freshman QB perform under pressure.

Again, did you not see him throw that great TD pass on the road in South Bend?

But we’ve seen yours fold under pressure.

There are only 2 good teams in the West. We beat one by 30 and we will play the other in Atlanta in a couple weeks. It's not like the West is much better.

Neat.

Wonder how well he can throw with his arse planted in the grass.

The east is as talented as a barrel of shite this year. We'll see how he does with Holland pushing him over all game.

Can't throw? Actually, Jake Fromm is SEC's best deep passer

quote:

According to PFF College data, Fromm is the most accurate deep passer in the SEC, completing 60.7 percent of throws that travel 20 yards or more downfield. In this category, Fromm has six touchdowns and no interceptions. Second-best is LSU’s Danny Etling (51.3 percent). Of Fromm’s total attempts, 18.5 percent of them are of the downfield ilk, the fifth-highest chunk in the conference.

Fromm is about to face some pressure and so is Stidham. Which team has the better coaching staff that can make the necessary in-game adjustments and counter adjustments and pull out the win?

How do you know that? Fromm's been pressured plenty of times and made few mistakes.

Hahaha!

You never know, Gus may come out if his shell and take the agressor role tomorrow. I know this, he better come out fearless. None of this coaching scared shite. Lay it all on the line, he’s got a huge opportunity ahead of him.

Is Georgia's pass rush as good as A&M's? I know A&M had the most sacks in the conference and they only got to Stidham twice.

Edit: just checked. Georgia is all the way down at 11... I don't think pressure will be too bad.
