fair enough question Lobo, the answer is this past year. aggy only won two games vs SEC WEST opponents, two other SEC west teams finished with only two win vs SEC WEST opponents. This created a three way tie for last place, unfortunately for aggy both of those teams beat aggy. this put anm in the SEC west BASEMENT all alone.

Actually lsu and auburn finished last but how did tu finish in their conference? Right behind Kansas?

That's not how this works.
A&M finished 4-4 in conference which is not dead last.

Losing to a walk on, at home to Kansas while in front of 5,000 fans is about as basement as it gets.
You should try another football team.

it was mostly a matter of Oklahoma wanting to give aggy another 77-0 in the third quarter, with the clock never stopping during the fourth quarter.

My 18 year old son wasn't born when 77-0 happened. He did go to the Cotton Bowl with me and remembers JFF beating the crap out of them last time we played though.
Fran hasn't been our coach for a very long time.

ohh Fran! who could forget Fran, “ eat donuts not list.” and my personal favorite, “get your licks in while you can.” Really it’s right up there with the quote of the unknown aggie, “we ain’t never been licked.” which maybe true for some but certainly not your “touch my tra la la” aggie cheerleaders.

That was Jackie Sherrill during the 1984 season. Franchione tried unsuccessfully to attribute that.
