So, iow, Bama, SC, Miss, KY, MIzzou and AR are the ones those other greasy turds should aspire to be.

water is wet. I don't think anyone from Louisiana would deny Louisiana govt has always been corrupt.

What Louisianian would argue that Louisiana has the most corrupt politicians and political machines in the country?

I challenge you to find one.

It's not like the mayor of Nashville was forced to resign or a Judge in Davidson County was just indicted, disbarred, and sentenced to 4 years in prison within the last 2 years.

If anything, whenever we make the claim of we're the most corrupt, someone from Bama comes into the thread to argue that Alabama is.

Chatt seems to have cleaned up a lot over the last 15-20 years.

Nashville is likely worse off than Memphis but I will choose to ignore it

If they’re convicting people of corruption wouldn’t it hint that they’re actually the least corrupt.

What this actually means is that corruption is prosecuted in Louisiana. Maybe other states just ignore it.

That not the point. Just trying to shed light on the breaking basketball referee scandal.

c'mon dude. Megan Barry had some good ideas for the city, but using tens of thousands of tax payer dollars on your paramour, who is also the head of your security team, is a pretty big no-no

Judge Casey Mooreland was a trip, though, very fascinating how all that came out. I actually liked him as a judge (I'm an attorney), but holy shite all that came out when it all started with a situation that had nothing to do with him. Fun fact, he was also an SEC referee for about 20 years.
