The Mississippi championship curse was broken

No D1 team from MS has won an outright title in any sport before this year. Yes OM has that claimed football title the NCAA recognizes but never has one played in a title game or championship tournament and won.
Until the ole miss women’s golf team did it. Then a short while after MSU baseball did it.
Curse is broken. There will now be championships galore coming to this state

Nah this is about Mississippi State University. Not the state of MS. Don’t let the other sorry schools feel like they’ve won something.

Good for the state of Mississippi. It’s about time; the drought WAS incredible. Even minor programs in Louisiana (and FCS schools) have won NCAA titles. I see that minor programs in Mississippi haven’t won a lot either.
