Here’s the list of SEC schools who gave a team their only win of the season, plus the amount of times it has happened (since 1978, division split).
Vanderbilt 2

LSU 1
-Louisiana State @ Vanderbilt 9/22/1990
Missouri 1

-Arkansas @ SMU 9/2/1995

LA Tech gave State our only win in 1988, therefore the season is known as "Tech and ten" to all us Dawg fans who survived it. We beat Tech 14-13 the first game of the year in a frog strangler(torrential downpour). It rained so much the umpire had to hold the ball to keep it from floating away. It was lightning bad also. Game probably would've been called in today's puss environment, and we'd been 0-10. Thank God for 80's judgement.
