UGA has gone a respective 37 and 38 years without a national championship

And Florida hasn’t beaten Georgia in football, men’s or women’s basketball in the last 2 years.
That’s 10 games.
Carry on.

Not to mention that curb-stomping Kirby put on his Mississippi State team.... 31-3

That's included in my number.

He included that game. Just got the addition wrong.

Addition is no joke, man. Can you just cut him some slack?

It appears that you can't count to 2.
2017
You swept Florida last year for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
Congrat's on all your success. Just curious how long it had been since Georgia men's basketball team had won in Gainesville when you broke the streak last year?
I'll tell you since math is hard for you. 16 years. 2002 was the last victory in Hogtown before last year.

Is this about 1980? Because if it is that was a long time ago.

Nah it’s about 36-17 and Merlins still being your coach.

I'm pretty sure you are mistaken.
It's about 1980 which was a long time ago.

Honestly I appreciate how so many of our rivals have now fixated their entire posting history on simply referencing 1980.
In the late richt years, when we were a mediocre to pretty average team, the "1980" posts weren't near as frequent. And why should they have been? People could simply post about the then-present day and how pedestrian we were. But now teams can't do that anymore, so they have to fall on literally the only retort they have left. We haven't lost to an East team since october of 2016. We've completely turned the worm in jacksonville on the back of 2 beatdowns, and UT/AU no longer lead the series with us like each one has for decades. Each talking point is getting erased year by year leaving only "1980" as the rallying cry of the hopeless.
Yes, I see this as a good thing. The more "1980" posts and threads we see, the more I know we're doing something right and people can't stand it.

No, it's just because 1980 is getting further and further away...

Nothign I posted is inaccurate. Sure it's a long time ago but recruits today entering college weren't even born the last time UT won one either, but nobody mentions that. Why not? Because UT has been an utter tire fire for most of the last decade, there have been SO many talking points to use to disparge their program that 1998 falls way down the list.
Like I said, the talking points are getting fewer and fewer with the current state of our program leaving 1980 as really the only refuge people have. One of the worst days in AU football history is going to be the day we win our next title, it will erase any sense of superiority they believe they have over us.

It was a long time ago. Before you were born.

And as I just mentioned, UT's last title was before most people on their roster were born.
