Check out your classless fansI can remember a few opponents rushing the field after beating us and I do remember Spurrier encouraging it the year after FSU tore theirs down against us. Spurrier was funny demonstrating the proper technique. Looks like us Gators and Alabama are the only ones who don't do this shite.

Your program memorialized a cry baby after an Ole miss loss

Tennessee will rush the field if they ever beat Alabama again but the way things are going in Knoxvegas they could be another 10 years!

The closest thing to it, that I can remember, was back in the '60s when a guy I knew ran out onto Legion Field in B'ham during an Ala/Tenn game, and climbed the goal post and stood on the crossbar until police came and drug him away...I believe he got the biggest roar from the crowd that was heard that day!....and yes, he was totally shite-faced.

a-hole cops let a bunch of pepper spray go when fans rushed the field after beating #1 uf. It was a windy night, and even fans in the stands got hit with it.

Your fans wore shirts making fun of an athlete of an opposing teams death! STFU!

Georgia fans tried to tear our goalposts down in 1986. Ballsy move for the road fans.
Then we turned the fire hoses on them.

My school tore down the opposing schools goalpost after winning at their house.
Then we did it again after beating another team at their house again.
Then we did it again after beating another team at their house again.

Let’s be clear that bammers have yet to find a set of goalposts to tear down.

Fans with class know when to use "us" and when to use "we".

Groza finalist Will Reichard has found the goal posts 85 times this season - 73 XP's and 12 FG's (that's 109 points in 11 games). Although technically each time he boots one through the uprights he misses the goalposts. So I guess you're right after all!

Fla Stare was a woman’s college until late 1940s, started playing football in early 50s. The Fla legislature forced the schools to play in about 1955. Florida won the first six games but in 1961 Fls State TIED a game in Gainesville.
You would have thought it was the second coming!!! Several thousand FS fans stormed Florida field trying to get to the goal posts.. They were met head on by thousands of Florida students and the result was a mass fight-riot that went in for an hour. People just pounded the crap out of each other all over the field. Organized charges toward the goal posts were met by thick lines of fraternity lads (back then fraternities included alumni as well as students... SAE had about 400 active members for example). One goal post was bent.
I was there, 17 years old... never saw anything like it until Vietnam. People took CFB personally back then, especially when it involved “State” schools such as Auburn and Florida State.

I do remember when Florida...not Vandy...was the only SEC team never to have won either an SEC football or basketball championship.

Is there a link to an article noting the last time a classless player pulled an opponents shoe off & threw it, along with any shot at the CFP & a Heisman for their qb, 20 yards down the field? Thats an article I'd enjoy reading
