The smoke has cleared after 48 games, and only one bracket is left standing. The perfect bracket, submitted to NCAA.com, correctly predicted the winner of every game in the first two rounds of the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

The perfect bracket, submitted to NCAA.com, correctly predicted the winner of every game in the first two rounds of the NCAA men's basketball tournament. A bracket named "Center Road" (NCAA named the owner as Gregg Nigl) called the first-round upsets, from UC Irvine toppling Kansas State to Liberty overcoming Mississippi State. The wise oracle foresaw the end of all 16 games in the second round, and knew they'd be won by the higher-seeded teams.

If every game were a coin flip, the website notes, the odds of predicting 48 in a row are 1 in 281,474,976,710,656. (Friendly reminder: Basketball games aren't coin flips.)

The bracket genius has the No. 2-seeded Tennessee Volunteers (31-5) beating the No. 3-seeded Purdue Boilermakers (25-9) on Thursday to advance to the second Elite Eight in program history.

My bracket is still perfect, I just didn’t upload it. I’ll upload it in a few weeks for proof.

No way it's Gonzaga over UK in the final.

If this guy had picked Duke instead of Gonzaga, I would say he has a decent chance (relatively speaking) of a perfect bracket. Pretty crazy to get all the first two rounds right.

There’s going to be at least one upset in my opinion

But Gonzaga to win it all? Eh

Assuming genders?

But that's who i got, Duke over UK. But of course I picked that before PJ Washington was ruled out, I'd probably pick UNC in their place now

I’m going to forward this to Head Coach Rick Barnes for bulletin board material. I bet nothing will motivate VOLS more than the possibility of ruining a perfect bracket.

Saw an interview with the guy this morning. He has 5 brackets. Should be invalid.

Honeslty, the Purdue game doesn’t really do much for me if we just lose in the elite 8. After failing to win the sec and sect, failing to make the final means the season is still a disappointment.
