Dude has gotten even worse since he left MSU

You can’t foul individual players for opting out - especially when this is their head coach’s mindset.

Good coaches will keep kids playing their hardest - even with losing team members to opt outs.

I get his point, and it’s valid.

But he shouldn’t have said it.

It’s not valid. He still has a team of players willing to show up and risk injury to represent him and the school in a bowl game against a high profile opponent.

Exactly. He should have coached those players to the best of his ability and taken the blame when they ultimately lost.

Yeah that's very pathetic. He just literally ripped the rest of his roster by saying that. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of players in the portal after that

Guy was perfect for MSU, but is out of his depth at a program that expects to win championships.

Programs that have a culture of making excuses do not win.

Mullen's actions last night gave off the impression that once his team started getting crushed he decided to hold a "scrimmage" and let the whole roster play.

People on his sideline were smiling and having fun late in the 4th.

He gave himself cover in the event things went south, which they did.
