The money's been raised.
It was peanuts.
The discussion now is whether to keep gameday spots around the lake for big donors, or to allow students to hang their hats as well.
I'm for both.
I'm hearing weekend parking spots will be for local vendors (breweries, vineyards).
It'll be a good time.
Talk to the local food trucks; they've all been approached.

I take your word for it. I was just going by the memo I linked.

hopefully this will help make going to the Dry Bean a little bit less of a nightmare.

I'm sure the Northgate bars hate it though.

I'm with you.
Kick the riff raff/hippies outta Northgate, and give us back our home.

The renderings look super nice. What a beautiful place for opposing fans to celebrate wins after each game.

Won't this just be a mosquito pit? Serious. (Is it chlorinated or something?)

Eh. From what's being said, the footprint for tailgating space only slightly increases. I don't think it'll impact Northgate too much.

Fish. Circulation pumps. Chemically treat problem areas. Problem solved.

Thanks for the info. Can't really tell from the pics and that overly blue water looks like a big pool/lake with chlorine. At any rate, the set up looks really good. I can't wait to see real pics of it - though I gotta say this is gonna be prank central for students.

BTW, how deep will it be?

ETA: I live near TVA lakes so 'artificial lake and circulation pump' is a foreign idea to me. But those are more like real lakes that have seasonal schedules so TVA can lower/raise them for power. Besides, no one wants to be on the lake in winter anyways. That's huntin' time. ;)

Think of this as more of a pond.

Aggies respect our nation's military and have a living memorial on campus. What else would you like to know about A&M's history?

This is a terrible idea. This is extremely valuable real estate. Someone will put ducks in the lake and they will be shitting on everything. Also the lake will breed mosquitos.

the mosquito talk is embarassing, cause it mostly comes from our own side and we are supposed to be an agrc/envr/ecol/agro school. i majored in none of those and still know how easy it is to control bugs.

Perhaps someone should study geography a little more. Texas is a large state with large forested areas and large deserts.

Mileage from Baton Rouge to Columbia SC is a little over 700 miles.

Mileage from Beaumont to El Paso is a little over 800 miles.

We have something for everyone....especially jobs.
