If the 2020 season is cancelled and let's say for argument there is a Spring season (maybe conference only games, March/ April regular season). Who is best positioned to have success in that scenario?

We are assuming the NFL will operate business as usual. Seniors and eligible underclassman have to declare mid-January. The combine is end of February, draft in April.

You have to assume all seniors who have a chance at a pro career declare so they are not available for the Spring season. Any underclassmen who will be a high pick (Lawrence and Fields are two obviously) will be gone too.

But what about the borderline players? Maybe a junior who grades as a mid-rounder but was hoping he could play his way into the second day of the draft?

Reminder, this is not a should it happen or will it happen but if it DOES happen, who will have success? And on the flip side, who would be screwed out of a potential great fall season?

I don't think the NFL will keep its usual schedule, they're dumb but not that dumb

Footbal will come back in the fall because the data on virus deaths says so

July 1 death High 600
July 3 deaths Low 600
July 4 deaths 254
July 5 deaths 251

Thus proves trump
Is right. No problem with the young only with the old The players will be just like the flu unless over 60 yrs old

The deep state was playing politics to try to stop the voters chance to elect or not to elect trump

That data says this thing isn’t over. Even 250 a day is 90000, the fact we had 600 in a day, as recent as the third says it is still very real

So Georgia may lose Newman, though he has family money doesn't he? Ohio State loses Fields for sure. Lawrence may stay because he probably has family money just by looking at him. Just looks like he comes from money. So he might be able to be convinced by Dabo to come back to "make a legacy and be the best Clemson QB ever" type thing.

Mac Jones will stay he has to prove himself. Alabama will lose the rest of their weapons though to the draft I'd suspect so that hurts Bama.

Really not sure who Florida loses. Grimes and Toney both could have left already in the draft and chose to stay. Doubt Trask is a leave type.

Who knows. Will be very interesting.

The dropping of the deaths as the cases rose proves we now have the understanding that only the old is affected and only them Needs to be controlled

Interesting how you came to those conclusions. Care to elaborate?
