Used to be played the day after Thanksgiving, now all it has become is a ‘get right’ game for both teams, rescheduled for opening day of gun deer season in Arkansas and during the Worlds Largest Corn Dog festival in Louisiana.

My, how these mighty Titans have fallen.

Sadly we'll never experience days like the Miracle on Markham again.

Corndogs is about all an Arkansas fan can aspire to in that culinary void.

Remember, those guys eat biscuits with chocolate gravy. I kid you not.

I remember how many Arkansas kept LSU from winning, as well. Pissed on you pumpkin pie a few times.

I grew up in AR and never had chocolate gravy until my ex-mil, from LA made it. Either way I don't see the problem, homemade biscuits and chocolate gravy is delicious!

I didn’t grow up with it either and most of my family still turns up their nose at the idea. I have had it in adulthood (because it’s so adult hehe) and it is good. I say don’t knock it til you try it.

I had never heard of it until my first wife from Augusta Georgia made it. Its hard to stomach when you have been raised all of your life eating the real shite.

Hopefully when UT and aTm start playing again it's Thanksgiving weekend so LSU and Arkansas can start playing that Friday again

I see your Miracle on Markham youtube link, and don't understand how it argues with my point.

So would that mean that Mizzou and Kansas would reinstate the Border War as well? Actually that would make sense. Get the Boot back to the end of the year. Then everybody has a great rivalry game to end the season on.

I know LSU-A&M have a decent history of playing each other but it just does not have that rivalry hate (good natured, of course) and bitterness that a rivalry needs.

It is missing the along with the after it is all said and done.

LSU fans reduced to bragging about a close loss to Alabama and dick riding a Georgia game from 15 years ago. Jesus this is the most depressing thing I've read this morning.

My point was no championships for Arkansas during that period. Or since for that matter.

And the series record means LSU doesn't have to enjoy success over Arkansas vicariously.
