The better offense lost in the title game.
I fricking LOL'd. Auburn's offense ripped the SEC a new one while Oregon danced around a bunch of pansy PAC defenses. Yeah, Oregon's was clearly better.

In fairness no one saw a "cam newton" (as it's come to be known) in 2010 when spring practice started.

All i remember were regular threads about how a juco qb could not come into this league and have success in the first year.

But you're right.

For Auburn's sake you can only hope the only time Holland sees the field is when Auburn gets up 49-0 on their opponent.

Otherwise, you guys are screwed on D.

So we go from "You're a moron, Auburn is fricked because Holland is a starter" to "Man, you better hope he doesn't start"

Cool story, bro.

Whether they will admit it or not, most knew that Cam had the talent, potential, coupled with that offense they ran, to get results and it did.

No one sees that right now.

I'm not aware of a statistical measure of offenses in which Auburn was ahead of Oregon. NOt saying there isn't one, but I believe Oregon was first in the country in ppg and was second in ypg.

Lose every sec game, have half of a practice and this is the result.

Be honest...it's because of cam, right?

The SEC is truly fricked now that Gus can run his triple option HB throwback double volley flea flicker pass.

Auburn rules of offense. Run as many trick plays as possible in the 1st half, then run out of clever shite to run in the 2nd half.

Gus should write Aplin a check for getting him back to Auburn.

and that's not the only check he should write- should start with the players from springdale who he used to get him his first college gig.

talent and potential are not he same as most dominate player of this generation.

Now of course you need those...but no one saw that coming...not even the biggest auburn homers.

If 2009 and 2010 are any indication, that's not all that bad of a game plan.

That means we were wear the opposing D out in first half and taking advantage of it in the second while they're gasping for air.

Well we did put up more yards than them.

also pretty sure our offensive efficiency was higher. If you buy into that stat.
