Man, I don't know. It was something like 45 degrees here in Dothan last night. And it's correctly 55 with a low of 36. I'm ready for lake weather so I can ride around Lake Martin.

It's so cold in that neck of the woods. I'm going to be on the boat full time while I'm home during the summer.

I'm not aware of a statistical measure of offenses in which Auburn was ahead of Oregon. NOt saying there isn't one, but I believe Oregon was first in the country in ppg and was second in ypg.

How do you think Oregon's offense would have done statistically if they had had to play 8 SEC opponents, including Bama, LSU, Arkansas, Miss State, South Carolina, and UGA?

I guess we'll never know and this doesn't refute my argument or support yours. What happened happened and they played who they played. Sorry.

I'm glad the Gus Bus is back. I enjoy there being such a glaring difference between UA and AU on that side of the ball.

It's funny how blind we all were to what was actually going on behind the scenes up until this past season.

Its called being a fan.

Kind of like the aggies with JFF now.

The only time it ran counter to such a thing in my memory is when Auburn fans stood by Cam, said nothing was there, and it turned out to be that way. In THAT situation, the *other* fans were blinded by their hatred and jealousy of the beauty that was Cam Newton.

We were a more efficient offense and racked up more yards than oregon. Basically it's a preference thing. I'll say auburn's offense was better because i'm an auburn fan, others will say oregon's was better because they don't like auburn. Not a big deal, we put up more points in the game that mattered.

What does that have to do with which team was worse? 2000 Bama was bad and lacked unity under a moron of a coach, but as bad as they were they still won 3 SEC games and outside of a ranked MSU (lost by 22) team did not get blown out. 2012 Auburn lost its last three SEC games by an average of 50-7.

Yeah, it pretty much goes without question that 2012 Auburn was one of the worst SEC teams in the modern age.

*THE* worst Auburn team in the modern age.

We could've lost to la monroe to have made it worse.

Yeah, and lots of people thought Notre Dame had a dominating offense and defense last year.

Then they played Bama.

Nope.

Try to control your hatred and jealousy more, Barrister.

While I am enjoying the dumpster fire...I really am...it won't last long. I'm sure it doesn't help that while your team is in the midst of the lowest of the lows ever, your rival is king of the hill.

Gus will either get it turned around, or the next guy will.

Meh, I was really referring to calling for the wrong guy's head for the better part of 4 years.

Accepting the "youth" excuses, yeah, that's part of being a fan. Denying that Therezie or Dismukes got paid, part of being a fan. Believing that our talent level was up there with Bama, UGA, and LSU, part of being a fan.

But the entire situation around Chizik was different. I could type a long post about it but I don't feel like doing that while on my phone sitting at a Subway

I'm cool as a cucumber right now. A good time to be a Bama fan.

Oh, and they all get paid in some way. UA and AU alike.
