LSU had lots of close calls all season - Texas, Florida, Alabama, Auburn
Clemson dominated everyone and beat Alabama by 4 TDs

I never thought I would see the day that people would argue that playing better teams made the accomplishments lesser than beating shitty teams.

Close calls yet none of those teams ever led LSU in the 4th quarter or had the ball with a chance to tie or lead.
Alabama never led period and Florida lost by two touchdowns.

I felt Bama 2018 would've been a slam dunk for GOAT if they had won. Not to take anything away from Clemson, but Tua never seemed to be the same after he got hurt against us. 2011 and 16 Bama might have had better defenses, but you didn't really fear the offenses imo

2018 had a great start going, but Georgia ended it in the SECCG, even though Alabama won the game and it had a story book ending with Hurts coming in for the comeback win. Then Clemson made it laughable.
I'm not a believer in the Tua injury excuses. He made bad decisions in big games trying to be a hero, not because he had injuries.
