The only reason the NCG was even close is because Jalen Hurts can't throw the ball downfield. Alabama did NADA on offense in the first half because Georgia brought everybody to the LOS and stopped the run - and Jalen couldn't throw it over the LOS. Alabama ended the first half with just 94 yards of total offense. If Tua had started Alabama would have scored easily and often in the first half and the game would have gotten out of hand. Georgia would have had to back off the LOS and Alabama would have run it down Georgias throat and won by 3 or 4 TDs. End of friggin story mutts.

Yeah, Auburn beat that arse, then lost their "spark" on offense for the SEC championship and got dismantled in the 4th. It's amazing what 1 player can do. Regardless, UGA is not going to be that good next year, but I do think they will be a force past that.

Dude, grow a thicker skin. Y'all won. UGA gave you a helluva game (as they did in 2012) and Tua was put in because the gameplan was. not. working. with Hurts (who seems like a great kid and a superb athlete but not the best in the pocket.) So Saban decided to change the gameplan and throw a true frosh who had never played meaningful downs right into the biggest stage in CFB. It worked, even though some of Tua's mistakes were of the kind Hurts rarely made, i.e. the interception and taking really stupid sacks. Georgia deserves to feel proud of their performance. They went toe-to-toe with Bama, took the game to OT, and produced one of the best CFB games of the season. Bama just managed to be a bit better. It's not a zero sum game -- Bama can be the best team in CFB, and they were, without claiming that UGA wasn't nearly as good as they seemed. Trying to make this argument just seems petty and bitchy.

If Tua was the starter, UGA would have game planned for him not Hurts. What a stupid fricking argument. The new Bama fans are as bad as the new UGA ones. I mean if we are doing ifs, if Michel doesn't get hurt, we probably win because he was going off. If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. You won. Stop being a butthurt ****.

That spark played and we shut him down by destroying your OL. AU got dismantled in the final 3 Q's 28-0.

Nope. UGa was the better team. BAMA stole one but it still counts. RTR!

You literally one on a one in a million play that required the GA defensive staff to go full retard. They beat themselves abd Saban new it that’s why he acted like a 4 year old at Christmas after the game.

I liked how it played out. Another soul crushing defeat in Atlanta is just what UGA deserved.

Sounds like a Saban problem to me.

I find it more amazing that one running back couldn't stop our offense. His loss really hurt you.

You pray. You lost 4/5 Olinemen and your QB panics like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs when he gets pressured. Sounds to me like Auburn won't be that good next year. But no problem. I'm sure you picked up some really good Olinemen this year in recruiting, right? You lost 4, so you must have signed 4 or 5 to take their place.

Losing your spark over 1 player speaks to poor coaching. We lost a lot players this year due to injury and went all the way. Sure, we're deeper than anyone else but we lost 8 in 2 deep at 1 point of which most were starters.

I appreciate the sentiment, but that gaff was actually primarily on our safety, and, to a lesser extent, the corner.

That is the point. Bama recruits depth so it does not use injuries as a loser excuse. Auburn had no depth, but somehow that is an excuse for losing.

What’s the Peach Bowl runner up doing in a big boy football discussion anyway?

Odd way to describe an overtime game decided by 3 points.
