Been hearing it all morning. The talking points have been discussed, disseminated, dissected, and distributed to everyone who has a voice - especially at ESPN. The message: Ignore the Iowa loss and play up Alabama getting a breather this weekend.
Jessie Palmer actually just said (with a straight face) he didn't think Alabama could beat Wisconsin.
OSU is in over the Tide.

Yep, the graphic they kept showing during the Big10 Championship Game presented it as a forgone conclude/matter of fact that whichever team won the Big10 Championship would be in the playoffs.

They need to stay consistent, if they left out Penn St last year they should leave out OSU this year.

Of course it did. It was the network that has a contract with the Big 10. Their studio crew honestly isn't very knowledgeable, but they are all going to spout the company line.
