The Darwin Award winners: The University of Alabama
I made it 19up 19 Dn

You touched a nerve — Kudos

Keep up the good work

Takes some seriously stupid chitt to win a Darwin

If stupid were the only requirement for Darwin, you'd be a multi-time winner.

However, it turns out death is one of the requirements for the award. Which means no Darwin award for these people.

20 year olds getting COVID and spreading it amongst each other isn't the worst thing as long as they stay away from older people.

And so you think people who would go TO a covid party would have the good sense to stay AWAY from other people?

They might. They also may not come into contact with older people by default. They’re in a college town taking classes online if at all.

They are just trying to protect the future of social security by helping a few boomers off of the merry go round.

subpoenas for contact-tracing compliance

New York state just started it. One party goer in NY shared a few names with the contact tracers. The people whose names were shared told the contact tracers to go frick themselves because they didn't care to talk to them. Now the state is having them subpoenaed to force them to divulge the names of all the party goers who are wishing to remain anonymous.

Chicken pox has a vaccine why risk getting it and then have the virus go dormant in your spinal cord only to come back in your 60’s and give you a nasty case of Shingles.

Lots of organs getting a work over in some people despite the recovery. Remember you will need those kidneys and circulatory system to work a long time into your old age after COVID 19 is in the history books.

Don't believe everything you hear on TV. Sure, kids party and some might become infected but I doubt that anyone was trying to get sick.

It's actually smart. Get it out of the way not so it doesn't affect you later when other things are going on.

Most people don't even know they have it, especially true for college aged kids.

If you've never had chicken pox, shingles won't spread to you from someone with shingles, however, you will get chicken pox from a person with shingles. They're the same thing.

You're either getting chicken pox as an adult or shingles. It's better not to be chicken pox.
