Has been great so far... when Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss St., and even Tennessee is talking shite, it’s been great so far.

I also have seen an exceptionally large number of Kentucky fans talking shite otb after their scorching hot start to the season.

I would have been happier with a 13 game round robin instead of a 10 game SEC office selection. That way, there are no favorable schdudking advantages that were handed down by Sankey.

I will be very upset when we go back to 8 next year.

Even if not 10, the conference absolutely should move to at least 9. It’s getting harder and harder for schools to pack their stadiums, eliminating one of the slaw OOC matchups and replacing it with an SEC school would definitely benefit everyone

10 SEC games.
1 P5 game
1 directional school.

Should be the schedule each year. Would be awesome

I doubt the front office wants to reinvent the wheel that’s produced 10 of the last 14 national champions.

Schedule better out of conference matchups, would be a suggestion.

Ditto. It's been fun so far. 10 of the 12 regular season games should be conference opponents.

It is great. I just wish the scheduling hadn’t been so egregiously slanted in favor of certain teams. There was no rational argument to send LSU to Nashville back to back years while Arkansas is playing 9 out of the 10 best teams in the league.

Who gives a god damn frick about playing some irrelevant squad from the West coast, Mid West, or wherever the frick.

I care about SEC games and SEC games only. Playing schools like Oklahoma or Oregon does not move the needle whatsoever for me, especially when there are SEC schools that VOLS will only play once a decade.

This made the most sense, they just didn't think they could fit 13 games in this year

With Kentucky's ascension, the rivalry with Tennessee has become one of the best in the east. The best rivalry in the east now outside of the coctail party is South Carolina and Tennessee.

Mizzou's home schedule in 2004 while in Big 12 (this was the year we scheduled a road game with Troy--and lost of course):

-Arkansas State
-Ball State
-Colorado
-Oklahoma State
-Kansas State
-kansas

Mizzou's home schedule in 2020:

-Alabama
-LSU
-Vanderbilt
-Kentucky
-Georgia
-Arkansas

I get crummy bowl games are good for the conference bottom line, but I'd rather go 5-7 or even 4-8 playing a real schedule than 6-6 or 7-5 with some of the garbage we've seen in the past.

I will say, as much as I loathe the Big 12, they've got scheduling down now with 10 schools...everyone plays everyone, and even in basketball they've got a double-round robin which is perfect.

I think we should play 9 minimum but would be onboard with 10.

I just don't give a shite about conferences outside of the SEC and would rather watch Ole Miss have a 10% chance to beat UGA than a 30% chance to lose to Coastal Carolina.

Really this is how we should do it every single year. Lets have a 10 game conference schedule and 2 P5 OOC games. I love it.

Well you appear to be in the minority. The Vols were all talking about what a great atmosphere the OU game was in Knoxville, and I think it was the same when Notre Dame played in Athens last season. No one has any problem filling seats for these games. Our OOC game with FSu and sometimes Miami are huge games.

Yeah it's been interesting and fun so far.

The change that NEEDS to be made at the very least is do away with the permanent cross divisions opponents.

If UGA-AU and Bama-Tenn need to play every year schedule it as a non conference when it's not on the schedule. UNC and Wake Forest did it.

I love it too but you can't have it regularly unless you change the playoff format. conference champ would have to get in automatically.

look at all the great games every week! the worst game in the lineup is my Tigers vs Mizzou. which means every game is worth watching, almost every week.
