A former Alabama student accused of making a bomb threat against LSU's Tiger Stadium has pleaded not guilty nearly two years after an incident that still has not been resolved, The Advocate reports. Connor Bruce Croll, who was 19 years old at the time, allegedly communicated a threat during the sold-out LSU-Florida game in Baton Rouge during the 2019 season and may have been doing so in an attempt to help a friend from losing a sizable bet on the contest, per The Tuscaloosa News.
The latest update from an attorney who's trying the case says Croll has been charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing on school property. That's a felony charge, meaning Croll faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Extremely dumb act but giving him 20 years seems unnecessary. Probation and community service would seem a more sensible sentence.

The rumor was that an Active at whatever Frat made/pressured him to do it. Obviously not an excuse, just means that 2 dumbasses were involved and 1 might get out unscathed

People do stupid shite at that age. Giving him 20 years is way too excessive. I don't know what the best course of action is. But, I do know that the kid's life shouldn't be ruined over that one incident.
