The run that Rohan and Josh Reed went on at the end of 2001 is one of the most remarkable things I've seen watching football. Reed literally couldn't be covered.

Watching those 2001 SECCG highlights reminded of just how raw Josh Reed was that year.

One is JPW in 2006 i don't thin he was the Coach then.

Imagine how much more impressive those numbers would be if he finally hired an offensive coordinator that didn't have a banana in place of a brain.

Agreed. Josh Reed was unbelievable at that point.

The LSU Bama game in 2001 is about as close to a playstation game as it gets for two players hooking up.

Ben Leard got back at Georgia for not offering him a scholly. David Greene got back at Auburn a couple of years later

Reed didn't drop a pass the whole season. Surest hands of any LSU receiver I can recall.

Actually those stats for Rohan and Reed should be given to DiNardo since they were his players and Saban had nothing to do with getting them to LSU.

It's funny looking at that list of Best Receiver years. Besides the fact that Julio isn't in the NFL yet, there is one other name that doesn't seem to belong...
Can you tell who that is?
Does seem that of the 3 area's of offensive talent, his best NFL position is WR's. Not alot of NFL Production out of the RB and QB areas (on these lists)

Good point. I find it ironically hilarious that Saban is giving credit for coaching Dinardo's recruits in 2000-2001-2002 (a coach and players that came to LSU """"""BEFORE"""""""" him) -
but somehow Saban is """ALSO""" given credit
for coaching Miles players in 2005-2006-2007 - a coaching staff that came """"AFTER"""" him.
What - was Saban's subconscious floating around behind Miles headset in 2005-2006-2007 telling Miles what plays to run and players to play ???
WTF is that ????

actually you guys are idiots Saban does deserve credit because Dinardo had Reed as a 4th string tailback. Saban moved him to WR and the rest is history. He's always had an eye for knowing where to place his talent.
