That the playoff committee has cronies? That’s conspiracy talk.
Unless there’s chaos I fully expect Alabama to get left out of the playoff. Tonight isn’t the final ranking.

Not sure how this is a melt. Tim Brando's is obnoxious but he's exactly right. That's the narrative that needs to be pushed - not this bullshite about Alabama still deserves to be in.

But how can anyone rank a 1 loss team with ZERO ranked wins over an undefeated team with a win over a top 5 team?

Even though they won’t admit it, most LSU fans believe Alabama is better than Utah and Oregon. So they’d rather play them. There is no other reason to be this concerned about the committee’s decisions

Rankings SHOULD be:
1. LSU
2. OSU
3. Minnesota
4. Clemson
5. Baylor
6. Alabama
7. Penn State
8. Oklahoma
But, they’ll probably put Bama at 5 or 6. It won’t matter though when Bama is sitting at home during the conference championships.
Without an unlikely loss, Bama’s best shot is if it comes down to Bama and Oregon.

Alabama has faced two good teams this calendar year...and got raped by both....at some point you can't just keep giving them a pass either. Beating bad teams is fine...but LSU went to Bama and controlled the whole game.
