Lol... I'm beginning to hate modern football. We look like the Big 12.

It’s not hard to figure out that style of play on offense effects how good your defense is. UGA has a lot of talent on D but also plays an offensive style that is conducive to them getting adequate rest and being able to ball out late in games when it matters most.

Which funnily enough two of these teams played last night (Bama vs Ole Miss) and produced a record number of yards 1,370 including 111 points and 68 first downs.

Get your popcorn read because LSU comes to Florida this week and the two offenses should have their way with the defenses like a hooker in Vegas on Super Bowl Sunday.

so Kirby Smart actually wants a pedestrian offense and all that talk the last few years about opening up the offense, going as far as firing and hiring coordinators, was just to throw off the rest of the leaque, eh?

Pissing off Justin Fields enough to get him to leave was pretty clever too.

Absolutely incredible that these are the 3 worst defenses. Georgia looks to have the most NFL dudes but these 3 are right behind them

Ugh. I used to want a potent offense so damn badly. Now I want some defense back. Any defense back.

Total D:
1. UgA: 236
2. Pirates: 285

Total O:
6. Pirates: 442
7. UgA: 420

This may be UGAs year with the talent overload and commitment to team balance. That, said, who expected MSU to be #2 in D and middle of the pack on O after opening weekend?

ETA: 420-440 yds in an All SEC Schedule being middle of the pack for total offense... again, not a fan of where football has gone

Bama and UF have played OM so that’s why they are on there. This will even out the more games they play that aren’t against OM.

Yeah, their offenses likely look slightly better than they are and defenses look slightly worse.

Are you high? You do realize Alabama was facing the Ole Miss defense, right? Corral & Co. would score 100 if they had that luxury...

are you high? You do realize, of course, that Alabama's defense sucks about as bad as Ole Miss and LSU.

The fact is both defenses sucked but Alabama's offense moved the ball even better than Ole Miss did, Mac Jones was even better than your guy, and Alabama's offense won the game in spite of its defense and Ole Miss did not.

edit to add that in the Missouri game a lot of Alabama's 2nd team was playing by the end of the 3rd quarter, including the freshman qb

You don’t have a better offense. We have a worse defense. Our offense would score triple digits on our defense.
