The Bengals have something special

The Bengals have something very special: Joe fricking Burrow and they should recognize that. They should be making plans right now to dump many of their players and get whatever kind of value they can from them (it won't be much I promise you) and bring in a real supporting cast.
I was having some fun last night mostly because I don't have the NFL Network and couldn't watch any of the game. I was just looking at the stat line. True, it wasn't very impressive for the first half but none of that was his fault.
After having a good look at Burrow's throws, it is OBVIOUS that he has always had a very special arm and mind for the game. This doesn't go well with that the fact that the rest of the Bengals seem to have a mind and fortitude for mediocrity. Burrow will NOT tolerate this for long and the Bengals "leadership" needs to step to.
If the front office has any football acumen whatsoever, they will recognize this and fill out a Super Bowl winning team as quickly as they can -- forget whatever it costs. They will NEVER get a QB as good as this guy. ANY team right now would be lucky af to have Burrow as their QB.
ETA: A lot of fans of college teams who have terrible QBs, 1930's offenses, 40 year anniversary patches, short head coaches and brittle players will be triggered by this post. I'm sorry many of your teams haven't had any players who have moved on to the league and were expected to do well. I'm sorry most of you on this board are miserable human beings and do not enjoy life but there's nothing I can do about that.

Oh yeah Burrow, the QB ranked 24 out of 32 right now with a 54.6 QBR

LSU fans turned a shite Thursday night game into one awkward yet awesome melt.

Looks like a future pro bowler to me. Hopefully they don’t make the same mistakes the Colts did with Andrew Luck

Sad to see BDJB beginning to follow the footsteps of LSU's other #1 NFL draft picks.

It's no secret the right QB is up there with the Head Coach. Bama fans would know absolutely nothing about their players going on to become an elite NFL QB. At any rate, I don't want to be insulting. Like I said, if the Bengals really want to win at a high level like the Patriots of the last 20 years or the Dallas Cowboys in the 90s, they'll do what they need to do to make sure Joe has his receivers. Being talented is not merely enough, you have to also want to do the things that allow you to be successful. I saw none of that from the rest of the team. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

Yet, I am not melting about it.

Me, after last week's Bengals loss:

Everyone knows that LSU fans are going to blame all of Burrow's subpar games on his teammates while claiming that all of his accomplishments are due to his talent alone for as long as he lasts in the league.

So now, any somewhat serious football talk is now "melting"? I don't get it. Melting would imply anger and I am not angry. You must be trying to project your misery on to me.

Sorry, the timing is too suspicious. The jury has read that slurpy book you wrote about Burrow, looked at the other threads in the area and convicted you of triggerdom.
And by the way, I like Burrow. Think he is a great QB.

I'm beginning to think you people don't even watch football at all or at least not for the sport. You watch merely for titillation with the hopes that you will witness someone more miserable than yourselves. You are truly a miserable and sad people.

Bart Starr, Joe Namath, and Kenny Stabler beg to differ.
