Good lord. Most of those programs are living off of national titles that occurred before these college players nowadays were even born yet. What a joke. That's the problem with making a list that goes back 50 years...who gives a shite if a program was good 50 years ago, or even 20 or 30 years ago, but they aren't shite anymore? Nobody but themselves. What a joke.

9 of the top 10 have won at least 1 title in the last 25 years (Penn St only one who hasn't). 7 of the top 10 have won a title since 2000.

So since a majority of time that the people on this board have been alive, UF has been the second best program in the SEC.

I'd say it's pretty close btwn LSU, UF and UGA. However, if Florida hadn't been sanctioned in 1984-85 and 1990, y'all would have 3 more SEC titles and 1-2 more NC's and it wouldn't be close.

I'd like to see how far some teams rise and fall if you do just the past 25 years instead.

Boy that's sad right there, even for an old mushy brain like yourself. I can't even imagine the pain that 70 years of going to Tiger Stadium to see the Tide roll in and flick LSU away must have done to your brain. In your 80 years of going to Alabama/LSU games in Red Stick LSU has won what, 6 times? 6-21-1 since 1952 - were you going to games before 1952 Pokey?

From your posting history, obsession and derangement it has clearly rendered you unable to function. Prayers, that sort of abuse isn't healthy for a man's soul!

With what you've so correctly pointed out to this mindless clown, I'm actually surprised that there aren't more psychologically damaged souls on this board than him and L'il Billie Taylor. I mean we're talking multi-decades of abuse.

One more time — Hit ittttttttt

We WERE the Champions
(Gump 2020 Rousing Tribute)

We paid our dues
Time after time
We done our sentence
For those NCAA crimes
And bad mistakes
We hired quite a few
We had our share of sand kicked in our face
Lately and 44-16 really really blew

We WERE the champions, my friends
Now we’ll just have to take it in our ends
We WERE the champions
We WERE the champions
Now we are Top 10 losers
Mac Jones turned us into boozers
But once we WERE champions of the world

We’ve taken our bows and our curtain calls
You brought Tua fame n fortune n everything that goes with it, Nick thanks you all
It’s been no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise
We consider it a challenge in an SEC West race and we so sorry Mac Jones gonna lose

Bama’s domination over LSU is one of the most impressive things Bama has accomplished

Bama has 5 losses in Baton Rouge since 1960

Someone may want to fact check those stats. LSU has had 9 losing seasons since 1970 (Charlie Mac had 1, Stovall 2, Archer 2 and Curley 4 ).

It is pretty amazing. But, to be fair, Bama also has a losing home record to LSU going 8-12 vs the Tigers in my lifetime in games played in AL (unless I miscounted); LSU is 4-16-1 in games played in LA over the same time.

It is an odd series for the most part when the road team seems to have an edge. "In the series history, only 39% of games have been won by the team playing in its home state (excluding ties)."

Much like the reversed image of the shape of MS and AL, which obviously contributes to the diametrically opposed courses of their respective states' football programs by comparison. The AL-LA transposition of state abbreviations is no doubt to blame for this home game anomaly in the series.

From about 1960-1990, Arkansas was arguably a top 10-15 program. I think joining the SEC hurt their recruiting in Texas and ofc some bad hires

Pretty much this. The team collapsed when Broyles ran off Hatfield and we were unofficially blackballed from playing any of our former SWC rivals for awhile. Not being able to play in Texas crippled our recruiting there.

We had a bad run when we first joined the SEC before Nutt stabilized things. The last 8 years with JLS, Bert, and Chad has been a nightmare for the program.
