Which one would think could be good enough to return punts professionally, yes? Why isn't he?

We get it. You think you've found an opportunity to dig at Bama. Carry on, if this is all you have.

The SEC has had some great returners over the last 20 years.

Shyrone Carey
Dominic Davis
Javier Arenas
Brandon James
Skyler Green
Tyrann Mathieu
Andre Dubose
Thomas Flowers
Decori Birmingham
Randall Cobb
Derek Pegues (did he play there for 20 years?)
Mike Espy
Brandon Boykin
Trindon Holliday
DMac

And the most talented of them all, Patrick Peterson.

***not pictured Reginald Fish.

They drafted Kevin Minter too at LB...

They need to keep drafting SEC West guys lol. Next year they need to get CJ Mosley, Clinton-Dix, and Craig Loston! Too bad they didn't get Lemonier from Auburn this year as well!

Arizona D, the All-SEC West D

If Patrick Peterson returned punts for more than one year at lsu, he could've set the NCAA record.

He should get half of Chad Jones return yards because of his spectacular windmilling abilities.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but you're displaying some serious butt-hurt over an non-issue. What's the deal? My OP clearly stated that Peterson would return kicks over Arenas, even though he has over 2,000 career return yards in Kansas City.

Probably my favorite highlight of his, actually.

The Arizona Cardinals' all-SEC West secondary...
I guess they're trying to be the Kansas City SEChiefs of the NFC...

I'd expect Jerraud Powers and Patrick Peterson to start at corner, Javy Arenas to play the nickelback, and Rashad Johnson (and eventually, Tyrann Mathieu) to start at safety.

They acquired Antoine Cason too. So he'll have a starting spot most likely.

Top 3 for me without a doubt.

It also shows how much of a team player he is that he was on the return team blocking. I'm sure he felt he was a better return man than Jones but he never complained and got his nose dirty throwing some blocks. Just another reason he is one of my all-time favorite Tigers!

Chad Jones scored against State in the first ever return that took over 11 and a half minutes to complete.

Mathieu is just a gamble by the Cardinals. He'll have to show he has the commitment before you can say he'll take #49's spot.

He just has to be committed to forcing 7 turnovers a year. It is the NFL, look at some of the talented questionable character guys they have.

Mississippi State= where all LSU safeties go to create a highlight reel.

I'm not saying he'll take Rashaad Johnson's spot, I'm saying he'll take the spot across from him (if he can stay clean and show commitment as you mentioned). I don't know much about their safety depth chart, but I do know Adrian Wilson and Kerry Rhodes were released. Seems like they'll be competition back there.

What do I have to be upset over?

I just find it funny that this is the first I've heard of this former Bama fan favorite in nearly 4 years.
