To determine the all-time Top 25, the AP formula counted poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (one point) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for AP championships (10 points).

Top 5 is still good enough for me.
That's suspect to have FSU and Florida in the top 10 though.

Bama (Yep, I am biased with them), USC, and ND should be above OSU and OU.

More weeks at #1 probably.
Y'all are still top 10 and 5 spots ahead of UGA though.

Yeah I was surprised they were that high, especially FSU.

Bert's going to move Arky into the top 20 before he ends his chapter at Arkansas.

Really, though, the fact is different people/organizations are going to base their rankings on different things. For example, this gives heavy weight to how many times a team was ranked #1. So there are a bunch of ways it can be viewed, which is why no one will ever totally agree.

I very much agree. Florida wasn't a top 25 program until the 1980's.

In late August, the AP is releasing their "programs of the decades." They will more than likely mirror these rankings LINK

To correct your ignorant sisterfricker statement it should be:

OU/Alabama
tOSU
ND
USC
Nebraska.

This just tells me that the AP sucks at ranking teams.
