This deserves to be repeated. unless you have been on another planet or something the last century or so, you should know we, Alabama, run this shite and the rest of you just bend over and LIKE it. Through the REC we control not only the SEC office in Birmingham, But the SEC commish office, the referee association, the SEC (and all of NCAA D-1) schedulers, the weathermen, FBI, hot chocolate dispensers, replay reviewers, bowl game allocators, even the NCAA office and The CFB playoff committee. Do I even have to type that all media rankings, 247sports and the national recruiting rankings are under our control? NOOOooo.... I don’t think so!!!

Saban's Media Days remarks are much like the State of the Union in CFB. There's a reason he talks about and is asked about national issues. It's understood his voice is the biggest in CFB and carries much more weight.
