Last night was a HARD hitting game. Some serious shots delivered and I’m surprised honestly there were not more injuries.

Tennessee dialed it up a notch after the Alabama QB injury and even I thought for a few minutes, wow can this game get away from Alabama?

Overall though just too much talent for Tennessee to overcome

The stop that was nullified with the penalty sealed their fate.

I expected to go to bed at halftime. But had to stay up to watch it finish. Was a very good game, it didn't disappoint. Bama, you guys really don't like Tennessee do you?

Even average QB play from VOLS and that game is a contest late in the 4th despite the officials.

Words cannot describe how bad Guarantano is

You forgot to add, "too much talent and too many SEC referees to overcome"

The bias is there and it is real, if people don't want to admit that, that is on them. But all you have to do is look at the games that Bama is in that are tight watch and see how many penalties that are missed that should have been called on Bama as opposed to there opponent.

The bias and cheating is real for Bama

This is so fricking funny seeing all of these LSU fans bitching about Bama and refs after all of the calls that they got in their game yesterday against MSU.

Despicable hypocrisy, really.

I think late October are when teams hit that stride and the hits just get harder and is when injuries begin to accumulate. This game has a reputation for it but in reality I see it across the country and have for decades at this time of the year. I saw a lot of hard hitting yesterday in the games I watched. I think some of us just look for it more in this game because of the reputation.

One doesn't affect the other! But your from Bama so you wouldn't understand that because it is past a 6th grade education!

Ok maybe LSU did benefit from calls yesterday, and maybe not. But that has no bearing on if SEC officials cheat for Bama!

No. Tennessee found a way to lose like they've done for a while now. I haven't seen many Tennessee fans using that excuse.

Did we have extra refs for our game?

Last night was the first time in many years VOLS didn’t seem to be intimidated by Alabama. In fact, they were the more physical team most of the night imo

Could Pruitt finally be changing the culture at Tennessee?

At the single most crucial juncture in the game, Tennessee was starting to gain serious momentum, until it was taken away by what? Bad calls from refs.

Not only the infamous “unnecessary roughness” call to extend Bama’s TD drive, but also the phantom hold to wipe out Jennings TD on our previous drive, and several others I won’t name.

Would we have won without the bad calls? Probably not. But we’ll never get the chance to know. Weird things happen in college football.

I am content with the effort of every single Tennessee player (MINUS Guarantano) last night. We got beat by a better team, but anyone who watched the game knows that the final score does not really tell the story of that game.

But the penalty yardage was the same hurr durr

Seriously tho that’s what is super frustrating. If they don’t wipe Jennings TD off the board, it’s 21-17. Then the 3 and out, VOLS get the ball back around midfield with ALL the momentum with Bama completely on the ropes.

Still probably wouldn’t have won but Tennessee was absolutely smacking Bama in the mouth at that juncture of the game. Their QB was shook, the crowd was out of it, and VOLS were fired the frick up. All the ingredients for a massive upset were there
