The 5 Stages of Loss To LSU Grief

1. Hope
"LSU can score but they gave up 52 points to Vandy and 800 yards to Ole Miss. They havent saw a defense/offense like us".
2. Confidence
"LSU's defense is TRASH. (Insert Player X Here) will run all over them. (Insert Another Player X Here) will have Burrow eating turf all day. They've played good teams but haven't saw a defense/offense like ours."
3. Worry
"LSU scored 14 already but we'd have 7 if (Insert Player X Here) wasnt injured/fumbling/dropping passes, we still have a chance."
4. Despair
"Our offense/defense killed themselves, we could've won if we didn't beat ourselves and our coaches weren't stupid and if our players weren't dumb".
5. Resignation
"LSU is legit. Also had some lucky breaks but will get destroyed by Ohio State/Clemson. LSU will suck next year after Burrow/Brady leave".

Never seen anything like this 24/7 . It’s becoming insufferable. It’s like you are trying to convince everyone instead of just enjoying the ride. Never seen a fan base act like this 24/7.

I'll admit Burreaux keeps proving me wrong. There is nothing about him physically imposing, and he kind of flies below the radar because he's very vanilla personality wise. Thought nothing of him coming into the season, and kept writing him off after each game. 13 games later, he's still rewriting the record books. Props to the kid.
Still not convinced this is the start of some LSU dynasty once he goes to the league, like what happened post-Cam. But then again, I've been wrong so far. TLDR, I'm not sure what to make of 2019 LSU/Burreaux but congrats on the season so far.

If Mississippi State, by some divine miracle, were to go undefeated I very seriously doubt you'd be making topics debating the merits of the zone vs. man defense and recruiting strategies.

If that happens I'll simply appreciate the amazing ride we had and look to next year. There will be no tree poisoning or homicidal rampage coming from me. I have a good life and sports are simply an added enjoyment, they arent my entire life like some of my trailer dwelling brethren to the East.
