Many of you have responded to those in need in SE Texas today. I'm sure it is a comfort to many to see a duck boat/airboat heading your way.

They were out working for sure.

I saw that the TX Border @Sabine & I10 is closer to all traffic. I can’t recall a weather event closing off that state border point before.

Orange and westward to Winnie just got hammered today.

They're a fantastic crew, going around everywhere helping people out selflessly.

Those guys go out and save lives and don't expect a damn thing in return. They just do it and get it done. I respect the hell out of them.

Amen.
Their parents are winners too.
And we’re grateful.

This morning, driving in the rain through Carlyss, LA, I passed a gas station with two aluminum-hull boats filling up at the pumps. I thought, "Shitty morning for fishing. Those guys are die hards."

I just now realized they were going to help people. Wow. Thanks for the reminder of what people are dealing with this evening.

All of these pictures are sobering but that 6th one!

Cajun Navy came to the rescue when Florence hit as well although some of the towns in NC went full retard and wouldn't allow them to help. Amazing group of ppl that do amazingly selfless and heroic work out of the goodness of their hearts.

Y'all stay safe!!

I have a bunch of relatives living right in the middle of that, just West of the Sabine.
