Word up in here in Chicago is that ND fans will head to Athens in droves for the game. Expect at least 30-40K ND fans in Sanford stadium that night and another 25K outside the stadium. Also, a replica of touchdown Jesus will be hanging over the Tate Center to inspire Notre Dame.
I'm really looking forward to this one. By 11:30 pm est on 9/21/19, we'll know which fanbase Jesus loves more.

No way there will be 30-40k Notre Dame fans in Sanford for that game. Absolutely zero chance of that I don't care if they bought up every scalper ticket on the Internet.
Ain't gonna happen. 15k max

I seriously doubt Georgia fans will let them get more than 15k.
Even if they get 30k it won’t even be close to what we did to them in 2017.

Allotment was 8K, I ma guessing made another 2K from scalpers
Would a leper give up their ticket to Lourdes for money?
Main reason you never see many non UK colors in Rupp, the locals won't sell them

Sounds like you're right there in Athens. Wow.
I say....bring'em all down, Notre Dame!! We had a great time with Irish fans up there in South Bend....good 'ol Southern hospitality awaits them!

I'm reading on other boards that the cheapest seats are in the 8000 Notre dame allotment (and are being bought by dawg fans).
ND uses opposing fans money to support their football habit. Selling out even their away game seats for profit

I'd love to see that
Would be a cool dynamic to actually have a visiting fan base travel to see an SEC game. Generally, speaking that doesn't happen very much, even with the neutral site games.
Georgia is still going to destroy them, but would be fun to see a good showing by ND.

Be funny but no chance that happens

Do you really think Notre Dame fans sold their tickets when they played at home so they didn't have to show up for their game...but they are all going to drive 10 hours to Georgia and pay a ton for some tickets to watch the game here?
Nice try. There is as much chance of that happening as an alpaca throwing a game winning TD against Georgia this year.

You're about the only non-Dawg fan that believes that. ND's going to be very tough and very fired up about our player's tweets from last season re: their loss to Clemson.
We expect another very close game.

I just have very little faith in ND. I'm sure it will be close in the first half, but you guys should pull away in the second half.

I guess South Bend would technically be considered outside the stadium, wouldn't it?

If they’re buying up tickets, it’s purey to sell them back to UGA fans at a mark up.
They’ll have their 8k and maybe a few hundred more but that’s about it

You're in high school. I know you don't know this, but it's a free market out there. If Notre Dame fans want to pay an arm and a leg, Georgia fans will certainly give up their tickets. This is how it works. If you hold on to your $100 ticket when you could make $500 off of it, you're not the brightest in the bunch. One game could pay half of your booster fees.

There's your problem.
ND wouldn't be able to secure that many tickets if they were playing Arkansas in a guaranteed win game. SEC fans are going to come out for big name OOC games and they get no bigger than Notre Dame.
They're especially going to come out when they're relatively certain they're going to see their team kick that big name OOC opponent's teeth in.
