Top 4 team (Iowa St) vs top 10 team (Texas). It's gonna be the biggest game in Ames, Iowa history. They already have way more attendance than the Kentucky's of this world, and that's without their best team in program history. Add in that we're going to be shutting down their football program after next year and got damn this one is gonna be a barnburner. I honest to god think this will be one of the best crowds we're going to have played at in recent memory.

We played aggy in 2011 at Kyle Field and creamed em. Not a very impressive crowd. We played ole miss in 2012 in Bumfrick, MS and creamed em. Not a very impressive crowd.

LSU voted against playing us in 2020, so they quite literally had no crowd and were straight up pussies.

edit:

Oh yeah, forgot we're gonna be playing piggie this year. I'd already penciled that one in as a W with a weak crowd too.

Maybe we should have invited Iowa State instead of Texas?

Bama wants no part of playing actually good teams. Remember who possibly cost you guys the 2011 championship too? Iowa St. Although more than likely Okie Lite would have fricked y'all up since the RPO hadn't been invented in the SEC before then.

Did you guys even defend against a single RPO that year? Weeden would have ate y'all alive. They gave Andrew Luck and Zach Ertz the business. AJ McCarron dog dicked y'all.

Why are you posting here? This is an SEC message board. No one here gives a shite about the Big 12 or big 8 or Southwest Conference or whatever the frick you call it.

Didn't they almost lose like 5 games? And didn't they actually lose to Iowa State?

Doesn't it feel embarrassing to have to ride those schools as a once proud Blue Blood?

Against superior Big 12 competition.

You guys are just lucky you avoided Iowa St. Ames, Iowa is a helluva place to play. What the SEC folk fail to understand is that the bottom dwellers in the Big 12 are vengeful. They only exist to ruin good seasons. There is not the kind of spite in the SEC as there is in the Big 12.

Not even a little bit. Either of those schools could blow us out by 70 points this year and we'd still get the last laugh by destroying the Big 12 and sending them straight to the G5.

You know what frick it. I'm counting LSU as a win last year. We're not the ones that pulled out of the game. They get the L. Can you imagine if everyone could just decide not to play the game if they didn't want to take the L they knew was coming?

Texas went 8-3. LSU went 5-6. They get another losing season put in the record books.

Will be hard for Texas to be ranked Top 10 when they start 0-2

and playing in front of 60k fans at Iowa State won't be even near an SEC experience unless you want to compare yourself to Vanderbilt or Missouri. Comparing your football experience to Kentucky(a basketball school) is pretty embarrassing.

Why would we start 0-2? You guys certainty aren't gonna do anything to us. You got Saban's leftovers as a HC. We got Saban's equal. (Saban put Sark in charge when he was gone) I legitimately can't even remember the name of your HC right now.

& then I'm just comparing pure crowd size because a lot of the people here think that Iowa St has a 20k capacity stadium.

Saban's leftover as a coach? Our HC has never coached at Alabama.

Sark is 46-35 in his career. Saban is 256-65.

Equals? LOL

Georgia. That's right. (I think actually. I still don't remember his name) So Saban's leftover's leftovers?
