Texas played 2 good teams all year and went 0-3. With the easiest schedule in SEC history.

If Texas played Georgia or Florida schedule they are 7-5 no playoffs.

I saw that tweet this morning too,
Played two good teams and managed to lose three times to them
But if we’re objective

Right. Last nights game really shouldn’t have been close. Texas was hanging on for dear life for a portion of it and Ohio State kept shooting themselves in the foot.
Ewers played as well as Texas fans could’ve hoped until two minutes left

but an SEC schedule is so tough, you can't play 9 conference games? which is it?

You managed to play the weakest schedule in SEC history and then coupled it by playing Arkansas with a gimpy Green at 11 am and Florida without Lagway
Your best win this season Texas A&M and you didn’t score a point in the second half.
You then played two of the three weakest teams in the playoffs to get to the semi finals.
Your team was overrated as frick but sailed on good fortune

We were a couple of plays potentially winning last night and SEC championship. It’s not the end of the world. I’d be much more concerned about when Lane Kiffin leaves. Ole Miss just a pit stop for him.

They got the cupcake seed in the CFP as well.
Texas is a good team don't get me wrong, but getting the easiest road imaginable to the final 4 before the wheat was finally separated from the chaff.. amazing stuff

That was your take away? Texas had like 4 drives killed by drops and was far more conistent moving the ball
Ohio State did well on the first 15 scripted plays, but after that
5 plays 14 yards
3 plays 7 yards
3 plays -7 yards
1 play 75 yards**
4 plays 27 yards int
3 plays 9 yards
4 plays -5 yards
13 plays 85 yards
They had 1 legit drive the rest of the game and it stalls too if any of the 3 happen: refs call the blatant hold on 3rd down on Simmons, Jahdae Barron uses his arms and not neck to tackle the TE, Texas sells out to stop the run on 4th and short
the 75 yard screen should have never happened, idk wtf the dc was thinking

BUT BUT BUT BUT THEY CARRIED THE SEC LMFAO

Absolutely! They talked shite all year and did nothing. Lost SEC CG with second loss to Georgia and then got that arse whipped last night. They are still shite!

Respectfully disagree with this. Texas’s D line was disrupting the OSU run and pass blocking making it hard to move the ball. Texas’s offense left a lot to be desired, sure. But if they stop that boneheaded 75 yard screen and Howard loses that ball he fumbled on a sack, Texas could’ve been up heading into the 4th quarter. Alas, they didn’t play as well as OSU, but they were hardly hanging on for dear life in my opinion.

It's true Texas shite the bed when they needed to hunker down, and it's true they had cakewalk schedules all year.
But it's also true they had a pretty damn good team this year, great defensive players and one or two good RB's. - maybe Sark is developing that Ryan Day reputation can't win the big one?

Actually Arizona was pretty good. That’s a legit win.

ASU lost to texas tech who lost to arkansas in the liberty bowl.

Texas even struggled to beat a 2-10 State team at home. That was the first glaring example.

Ole Miss and Mizzou aren’t really in a position to knock anyone’s schedule.
Texass at least played Michigan OOC.

But they didn't lose to the worst team in the SEC at home with their best team in 3 generations.

If OSU doesn’t shoot themselves in the foot with unnecessary penalties on multiple drives, this game isn’t close.
Texas had a bunch of misdirection that worked for a while, but were getting pushed around at the LOS.
Texas couldn’t get first and goal, and couldn’t stop 4th and 1.
Sark knew they were a finesse team and couldn’t power into the endzone, so he called more finesse plays that got blown up.
