Really smart on the recruiting front.

Go to a school where they can use the brand/logo to help with NIL deals or ... attend Texas where you can't use their logo or even their "colors".

A&M is going to throttle OU, TX, and LSU on the recruiting front for years to come.

That’s why SurlyHorns / Tiger Rant are constantly posting about “bagmen”.

We don’t need bagmen with the kinds of decisions they make.

Not a fan of the Longhorns, but it's full-on retarded to sue the NCAA and member schools for using your name, image and likeness without giving you a cut and then cry like a little bitch if they won't let you use their name, image and likeness without giving the school a cut.

Lol you aren’t going to “throttle” LSU in recruiting, especially since you consistently finish behind us and are going to finish behind us again this year

Some might argue that they are already giving the school quite a bit in regards to ticket revenue, ad revenue, and the potential of bringing championships to the university.

I don't see any issue with this. If you want to market yourself in your NFL Jersey, you can be damn sure the team is getting a cut.

Door swings both ways, as do most longhorns.

It is a STATE law.. one that I hope gets changed. Otherwise, that will make it harder for all Texas schools.

EDIT: This is the first I have heard on the colors.. but I know it is a STATE law on the uniform and logo.

No huge deal because, eventually, the socialists in Austin will forego football entirely

Do you buy tickets to see certain player(s) or to watch your team? I'm not going to games because Bryce Young is playing, I'm going because Alabama is playing.

there would be no opportunity to play football, earn a free education, and now earn money if the taxpayers of the state had not built/funded the school and all of its intellectual and physical property. the taxpayers should be repaid for that. taxpayers should also not have to see their publicly-funded school's logo inherently endorsing the local titty bar, church, or abortion clinic since invariably all of the citizenry will disapprove of any or all of those endeavors.

That’s not uncommon. Why should they?

Yep, NIL is nothing you want to get wrong.

It’s hard to argue they don’t look like milkmen. Whatever milkmen look like. I’ve never seen one

So you don't get out of Arkansas much, I see.

The next thing you will see will be a bunch of TAMU players advertising their stuff in full Aggie gear. Message sent.
