Stop melting, the SEC has your back. If there is a problem with Texas, trust us we will put them in their place. They have no more power here than any other SEC school, including yours. You think any SEC state is going to listen if they go to the Texas legislature? Texas's army of lawyers are only good in Texas, they would be laughed at in the other SEC states

Texas can try, but the power in the SEC is in the schools, not the conference office, not the SECCG, and not the TV rights. IF Texas tries anything, it is possible that the other schools just leave and take everything with them. They can do that, in a day.

So while you have bad memories about Texas, remember that Texas is about to be crave up and served for dinner.

That is, quite literally, how power politics simply do not work. And Texas is good at that. Look at their resume. They are "Bona Fide".

Look - I'm a Kentucky fan. It's not like I'm even a backer of a legit football school. So trust me when I say - letting Texas in is like bringing home a boat. Getting rid of them will be the second best day in the relationship, as far as the SEC is concerned. Or at least what is left of it.

Not melting, now that OU and Longhorn realize we were right 10 years ago. But I'm also not a baby dick bitch that worships lucci.

The SEC doesn’t have anyone’s back. If Texas contributes better on the field and monetarily then they will get that status.

This was meant for Texas AM. I have Texas-Exes in my family and they are scared shitless about what is about to happen to Texas athletically. Beef, it what is for dinner

Honestly though, you think Texas will ever win an SEC title in any sport?

They’re not worried about Texas’ power. That’s their cover story.

They’re worried because they just lost their one and only recruiting pitch over Texas.

Oh I know it was. It was hilarious. Big bad Bama reassuring their cell bitch that everything's gonna be OK.

Nope! I doubt we ever win a single game in any sport.

We have the better team right now and most college football fans would agree on thag. Eventually we will give up take whatever concessions we get to pipe down and enjoy some wins on the field. But then some of y’all are going to start bitching when the chips fall and the conference is shuffled around.

I have always been surprised at the level of recruiting Texas does and the results on the field. While what I said was slightly in jest, it may still be true.

Well, gump and fAggie have been very open and honest about their love affair since day one.

We just sigh, tell them how brave they are, and move on.

Based on my read of these threads, Alabama is great at football, and that power somehow imbues the other SEC athletic programs with special abilities that Texas just won't be able to overcome.

Face it bud, I know we've beaten two of the last three SEC teams we played, but it's gonna be completely different going forward. I think with any luck we might be ready to compete sometime in the early 2030s.

That's commendable. If they're afraid about joining the SEC, then they are also weak, spineless pussies.
