How does this compare to the other SEC schools?

Far behind LSU & Arkansas

Florida has 40. 240 conference championships as well (which is insane).

According to the NCAA, A&M only has 12.
Club sports don't count, bro.

does that include the 2 fake natty's invented in 2012?
It sure does. No different than most schools that claim MNC's prior to the CFP, excpept UCF, of course.
Don't be a dick!
Serious thread!

Equestrian is not a NCAA sport. It's closer to being just a club sport.
And those 3 football "national championships" aren't recognized by the NCAA.
Your numbers are WAYYYYYY off.

Arkansas - 44
LSU - 43
Florida, I believe, is in the 30s
Texas A&M is way down the list. I can promise you that.

The number is not 27 and even if it was it would be way bad.
But, we all know that Aggie is not real serious about sports.

Simply because they weren't claimed back then? They count, as do the Equestrian. National Championships are NC's!
ETA: L$U, Arkie and UF...rustled!

How many are in real sports and not seeing who is the best at exercising?

This is an interesting response thread.

Yes it is. That was kinda my point. I was curious to see how schools that suck with some of their programs will attack others that have excelled.

I don't think the NCAA recognizes anything Equestrian prior to 2013.
Softball wasn't recognized by the NCAA prior to 1983.
That reduces the number to 16.
As stated earlier, the NCAA doesn't recognize FBS football titles, only FCS and below.

First, how many are NCAA?
Second, how many were won as SIAA or SEC school
According to WIK, this is TAMU's NCAA wins with SEC in BOLD
NCAA team championships[edit]
Texas A&M has won 13 NCAA team national championships.
I know TAMU joined in 2012 but when did they announce? Seems some of the 2011 wins were B12 credited but TAMU was already SEC bound.
