Congrats to these young men.

Gilder, a 6-foot-4, 199-pound junior guard from Dallas, Texas, had 23 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a season-opening win against 11th-ranked West Virginia. Gilder fell just one rebound shy of his first career double-double while approaching the Aggies' first triple-double since 2002 as he tied for game-high point honors with 23 and grabbed a career-best nine boards. Impressively, Gilder dished out a game-high seven assists while committing zero turnovers against the Mountaineers' aggressive full-court defensive pressure. He was 8-of-12 shooting from the field with a 4-for-5 mark from 3-point range while going a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line.

Waters, a 5-foot-11, 167-pound guard from New Haven, Conn., had 27 points, six assists, five rebounds and five steals in a season-opening win against Alcorn State. Waters one of the top debut games in LSU freshman history and the third highest point total by a freshman in Division I in games Friday and Saturday. Helped LSU to a win in Will Wade's debut game as head coach before an announced crowd of 11,856, the biggest for an opening night game in the Maravich Center since 1991. Waters moved into the point guard spot and had just one turnover in 27 minutes of play.

I posted in another thread but I believe Skyler Mays benefits the most out of Will Wades system this year.
