Texas A&M's $100,000 Hotel Room

Rich Uncle Aggie setting a new bar. A lot of money to watch the team get their asses kicked on the reg.
For a few Aggie football fans, the ultimate game weekend is just $100K away. Texas A&M's 250-room hotel and conference center has been taking shape at the north end of Kyle Field throughout the season. Starting this week, Aggie fans and campus visitors can place deposits to get a chance at guest room options at the new 252K SF luxury on-campus hotel.
The options, which start at donations of $100K, will be valid for 10 years and will give holders the right to book hotel rooms or suites at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center for home football games — or any other day of the year.
The rooms will be as close to Kyle Field as you can get —

No, the $100K just gives you the RIGHT to book a room. Doesnt pay for it. It is kind of like PSLs

And that equates to about $1500 a game weekend, like I stated....
Auburn Hotel and Conference Center does the same thing. I want to say its 5k or 7.5k a year, they book 15 years out

Kevin sumlin could stay 100 weekends in that room with the money Texas A&M must pay him within 60 days of being fired

This is so stupid. I wish more schools would figure out a way to do something like Iowa did. Children's Hospital made that entire side of the building an observation area with big windows so the kids could watch the games. Every game they have a coordinated fan interaction where they all turn and waive to the kids. frick pandering to the ultra-rich. Do more of this.
