You're only as good as the teams you play. If you're gonna line up a bunch of pushovers with no fan support, you may as well be the fricking Globetrotters playing the Generals every week (which is what you do).

Our home schedule has recently included Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Tennessee. Nice cherry picking though. Would we be more excited if our home slate still included goofy aggies or something?
Note: Even KANSAS found a way to go win an Orange Bowl in peak BIG XII years. It's the loneliest trophy on the planet, but it's there.

Who set the attendance record at trailer-park memorial stadium in our last season in the Big 12?
It took stadium expansion and additional seating to finally beat that record.
You think that a conference's success is solely about how well its members perform on the field in a limited time-frame. You forget the other very important factor. Why do you think the longhorns are so desperate to get the Aggy game back on the schedule?
You will still forget the other very important factor and ignore it, because you probably will never get it.
