The two schools are less than a 2 hour bus ride apart. Florida plays FSU, Georgia plays GT, and USCe plays Clemson. Texas A&M and Texas has a good ring to it and would fit right in with those.

I know Texas was dumb to do the Longhorn Network and made the Aggies angry, but the state of Texas needs that rivalry back. Since you have Jimbo for 10 seasons (in theory), let him square off against the kissing coach every year.

Bring back the Thursday night Thanksgiving showdown soon.

I wasn't going to say it, but LSU and A&M can't be a rivalry if they don't ever win.

But you're right, we need to beat Bama again. I'm sure Alleva realizes this. Why else would he hire Ed Orgeron and let him run off Canada for his baw, Ensminger?

Agreed. This was one great rivalry. These things are going away and we need to keep these games when possible.

It's all on Texas. Texas whined when A&M was a possibility as an opponent in the Texas Bowl

They gnashed their teeth when TAMU left, and they whined about playing them in a bowl. I guess this is a troll thread so do what you gotta do, facts be damned.

Not just no but F No.

They created the mess they are in. Broke a perfectly good conference. Nebraska left a great rivalry with OU because of them.

The best town to visit (Boulder) left cause of them.

They deserve the shite that is left. They made their own bed.

A&M ran off.

If you guys had an SEC team run off, you'd probably not play them for a while. No big deal.

and you would probably tell said school to frick off if said school told your administration "we will never play you in football ever again" as a threat and then got every single member of their POS conference to blackball you in future scheduling. oh wait

Georgia and Georgia Tech kept right on playing when GT left the SEC. LSU and Tulane did the same up until the the 90s.

A&M asked Texas if they wanted to keep playing when we left and DeLoss Dodds decided to have a hissy fit instead.

????

You guys left the conference. The conference decides not to schedule you for some time frame (10 years seems a good amount of time). No big deal. Why would a conference get excited about scheduling a team that left?

Yet you guys constantly harp about how Texas treated you badly and you had to leave. Butthurt. Give it a rest.

And that hurts your feelings, doesn't it?

So let me get this straight. You really wanted to play us, and then DeLoss hurt your feelings, and now you don't want to play us?

Do I have that right?
