Texas A&M got exactly what it wanted from Texas

When it was all said and done we received their acquiescence and submission to an equal partnership and now we will both make a shite ton of money and go back to playing one of college footballs marquis rivalry games. We haven’t played each other in 10 years and are still the south’s second oldest rivalry beginning in 1894 with 118 games played.

That's over and we have been recruiting very well. On your way to us, don't ignore Auburn, LSU, Miss State and Ole Miss or Missouri or Arkansas or Georgia etc. And then there is Oklahoma.

I didn’t get there until that one Arky fan had a meltdown about the ESPN pods.

Plus frankly we have done better since we started recruiting more outside Texas.

That’s never been the case—even when we were in far worse shape.
There will always be kids/families who are drawn to Austin and UTex, while others will be drawn to College Station and Texas A&M.
