Texas A&M fined for rushing field

0Texas A&M has been fined $250,000 for rushing the field after the win over LSU. It was their third violation of the policy. Good thing for them they have all that oil money.

Who cares?
These fines are nothing to any SEC program. They're worth it 10 times over for the tv value the scenes provide for both the schools and the conference as a whole.
The fines are strictly symbolic for the conference to be able to claim they don't condone it.
