I'm gonna use this thread to eat some crow. Thought Myles Garrett would be a bust in the NFL and not do anything. Boy am I wrong as hell. Dude has some quick moves, he has a ton of athleticism to handle NFL linemen, and he seems to be in the backfield knocking the QB every play.

Cheers Aggies. You should be proud. He's a hell of a player now and will be in the future. He's making that university proud.

I have no idea why anyone would have thought this. Dude is a freak athletically and was very productive in college.

It was probably a Tennessean since you know, Barnett is better.

I’ll never understand why anyone actually doubted Myles. Sure you can make some kind of silly argument to talk shite on here, but anyone who didn’t see that at worst he’d be an above avg NFL player is clearly blinded by bias.

The biggest problem is that Garrett didn’t develop or improve until after he was drafted. That’s a damning indictment on the Sumlin regime.

He disappeared in every game against LSU because of the shitty scheme y'all had back then. Dude is a beast.

He didn’t though. We had a bad defense. LSU ran at him and schemed properly. He still got some pressures and made a few tackles free his freshman year when he worked of his run defense.

To be honest, I pretty much only saw him against LSU in college, so I didn’t really have much of an opinion on him, but he seemed like he’d be good based on watching him last season and this season.

he also played the equivalent of an entire season with either a broken thumb or sprained ankle.

Yeah I never doubted Myles, but I sure as shite laughed when the browns selected mayfield...and he looked legit tonight.
