Both Texas schools are loaded for bear. They have huge enrollments, huge treasure chests and a bountiful recruiting ground. And now that both schools have SEC credentials and they can play NIL card, what’s to keep them from success? Am I suggesting a change in the SEC pecking order? Not necessarily, but I am suggesting it is definitely going to be challenged.

Texas boosters will keep screwing Texas up.

The boosters at both Texas schools will always be their own worst enemy.

Having a deeply engrained culture of the need to wear heavy flow maxi pads.

The same thing that’s kept them from success for decades while having huge amounts of money resources and being in an insanely large football crazy state

Sark will get fired in November of next year and horns will slobber all over Urban. At this point, will likely lead to more turmoil than success but should be highly entertaining.

A&M brings an enormous fan base, great facilities, lots of money, and a talent-rich environment.
Unfortunately, they will also bring themselves.

This has been true for 20 years, why should we be concerned?

If Jimbo doesn’t get the axe first and go after Urban. ?????

Our boosters (12th Man Foundation, not Longhorn Foundation) are amongst our greatest assets.

The state of Texas historically cheats - and cheats badly - in college sports.

As long as Venables is have way decent as a head coach OU will continue to hold Texas in check. Texas has been routinely getting close to too 5 classes most years above OU and they continue to lose lose lose…. So no I don’t think that’s the case.
With A@M they are stuck on 7-4 …. Yes this year recruiting classes feel different and some talent may overcome Jimbos inabliltiy to coach a offensive team with no qbs. If they got a star qb it might be different but as of now they are just a average team.

They have huge enrollments
How does this statistic translate into wins?

I love when the Big XII tries to sit at the big boy table.
