1980 and 1998. Both were a long arse time ago and not worth clinging to.

Imagine being this rustled by a Tennessee basketball win on a Saturday night. And Tennessee didn't even play your team.

1998 is nearly 2 decades after 1980

Both happened so long ago that neither is worth clinging to. Yet an inordinate amount of Tennessee people still do. Strange phenomenon!!!

Imagine worrying this much about a sport that will be outlawed within the decade.

VOLS returning 8 of the top 10 and adding a 5* combo guard and 4* center.

Backcourt of Jordan Bone, Jordan Bowden, Lamonte Turner, Josiah James won't be losing too many games, I'm afraid.

Alabama broke UGA. They are turning over their Big-6 card, voluntarily.

Holy. shite.

Dude. Tennessee is just a better program than Georgia until the dawgs win a national title. 1998 is a lot closer than 1980 is. Quit obsessing

But yes in reality they are a good squad that should make a deep post season run

See, THIS is exactly what I've been trying to instruct y'all on. One of your own just made the most patty cake basketball "football is overrated" comment in Rant history and you are not calling him out on it.

Not often that you can remember witnessing a school becoming a basketball in real time as it happens. Strange!

It's all theory, and there is no absolute right and wrong. So that's your theory, no problem. But please tell me how you operationalize and define "better" as in "a better program."

Seems like a mighty stretch, but you must have your reasons and I'm sure you could explain it.
